msbte computer engineering syllabus second semester , 2nd Semester have 4 subjects which have theory exam ,
semester pattern for its diploma courses. The semester pattern divides the
academic year into two semesters, namely the Odd Semester and the Even
Semester.
Odd (1st)Semester: The Odd Semester generally begins in July or August
and extends till November or December. It is referred to as the first
semester, third semester, fifth semester, and so on.Even (2nd) Semester: The Even Semester usually starts in December or
January and continues until May or June. It is referred to as the second
semester, fourth semester, sixth semester, and so on.Duration: Each semester typically has a duration of around 4-6 months,
including the examination period.Subjects: The semester pattern consists of various subjects or courses
that students need to study during a particular semester. The subjects
may vary based on the specific diploma program or branch, such as
computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.Examination Scheme: Under the semester pattern, examinations are
conducted at the end of each semester. Both theory and practical
examinations are held to evaluate the students’ knowledge and skills.
The examination scheme may include written exams, laboratory exams, viva
voce, and project work assessments.Credit System: MSBTE follows a credit-based system wherein each subject
is assigned a specific number of credits based on its academic
weightage. The credits earned by students in each subject are
accumulated over the semesters, leading to the accumulation of a total
credit score.Grading System: MSBTE uses a grading system to evaluate students’
performance. The grading system includes letter grades such as A, B, C,
D, E, and F, with A being the highest grade and F indicating failure.
The grade points associated with each letter grade are used to calculate
the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).Continuous Assessment: Apart from semester-end examinations, MSBTE also
emphasizes continuous assessment throughout the semester. This includes
internal assessments, assignments, class tests, practical work, and
projects. These continuous assessments contribute to the overall
evaluation and grading of students.
